Support Village Information, KKP Posko 08 Unismuh Makassar Hand Over Maps of Public Facilities to Desa Libureng

BARRU — Students from the Community Service Program (KKP) Posko 08 of the Libureng Village, Faculty of Agriculture, Muhammadiyah University (Unismuh) Makassar, have once again presented a project that is expected to provide long-term benefits to the community.

On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, the KKP Posko 08 students officially handed over the Libureng Village Public Facilities (Fasum) Map to the Libureng Village Government, Tanete Riaja Subdistrict, Barru Regency.

The map, created by the students, was then placed in the Libureng Village Office as one of the information media that can help residents and visitors to easily identify the location of various public facilities in the village area.

The creation of the map began with observations and data collection of various public facilities scattered throughout Libureng Village. The data obtained was then processed and presented in a simpler, more informative, and easily understandable visual form.

Through this presentation, it is hoped that the community can obtain an overview of the location of public facilities in the Libureng Village area without having to search for information separately.

For the KKP Posko 08 students, creating the Public Facilities Map is not just about producing a visual product. This program is part of the students' efforts to provide a real contribution through the utilization of knowledge and skills gained during their studies.

In addition to serving as an information medium for the community, the map is also expected to help the Village Government in documenting various facilities owned by Libureng Village. The presence of the map can be one of the supporting media in introducing the conditions and potential of the village area to the community and visitors.

The Head of Libureng Village expressed his appreciation for the contribution of the KKP Posko 08 students in creating the Public Facilities Map.

“We appreciate the work of the KKP Posko 08 students. The Public Facilities Map is very helpful in providing an overview of the location of facilities in Libureng Village. We hope that this map can be used effectively and continue to provide benefits to the community," said the Head of Libureng Village.

The handover of the map was also part of the KKP Posko 08 students' community service activities in Libureng Village. The presence of the students is expected not only to provide academic and social experience for the students, but also to leave a work that can be used by the community after the KKP program ends.

The KKP Posko 08 students hope that the Public Facilities Map can be used sustainably by the Village Government and the community. In the future, the information in the map can also be updated according to the developments of facilities and the needs of Libureng Village.

Through this simple but functional work, the KKP Posko 08 students have shown that community service can be realized through the utilization of data, creativity, and innovation to present solutions that are close to the needs of the community.
