From Abon Bandeng to Sekolah Peduli Hutan, KKP Pancana Students Bring 7 Programs for the Community

Pancana, Barru — Tuesday, August 18, 2026. Students from the Professional Work Program (KKP) Posko 1 of Pancana Village, Tanete Rilau Subdistrict, Barru Regency, conducted a Work Program Seminar as part of the KKP activities that took place from August 5th to October 5th, 2026.

This activity was carried out to introduce students' work programs and to obtain feedback and input from the village government, community leaders, youth, and other relevant parties. The seminar was attended by Pancana Village Head, Muh. Idris T, Village Council (BPD) member Reza Syaifullah, community leaders, youth leaders, village heads, neighborhood heads, and the heads of SMKN 2 Barru and SMPN 6 Barru.

During the activity, the students presented various work programs in the fields of education, economy, environment, social affairs, and youth, including SABUTY (Inovasi Abon Putty), Development of Packaging and Marketing for SMEs, School for Forest Care, Al-Qur'an Writing Reading Room (BTA), Smart Teen Education for Healthy Socialization, Independence Day Celebration, and Gate Construction.

In addition to presenting the programs, the students also explained the organizational structure of KKP Posko 1 of Pancana Village, which consists of Field Supervisors (DPL), village coordinators, secretaries, treasurers, as well as Events, PDD, and Public Relations divisions. Dr. H. Burhanuddin, S.Pi., M.Si., the DPL of KKP Posko 1, gave guidance for the students to better integrate with the community and to implement work programs according to their abilities and the conditions in Pancana Village.

Each work program has its own implementing team and responsible party. SABUTY (Inovasi Abon Putty) is the responsibility of Andi Mallarangeng and Muh. Nur Faisal, with a focus on utilizing fishing product potential into value-added processed products.

The Work Program of Packaging and Marketing for SMEs is carried out by M. Maulana Nasukha, Sitti Aisyah Haris Dalle, Sri Adinda Hardi, Firda Aprilianti M., and Reski Amelia, with a focus on developing packaging and marketing strategies for SMEs products. Meanwhile, the School for Forest Care is the responsibility of Momon Firdaus and Adriansyah, with a focus on providing education regarding the importance of preserving the environment.

During the discussion session, various suggestions were given to improve the work programs. The BTA program was suggested to be expanded to every village, while SABUTY was directed to utilize the available fish raw materials in Pancana Village. The SMEs program was also directed to consider dried fish or salt products and to collaborate with BUMDes.

The School for Forest Care program was directed to target SMKN 2 Barru and SMPN 6 Barru, while the Healthy Teen Education program is expected to provide more in-depth material on healthy socialization.

Through this seminar, the KKP Posko 1 of Pancana Village students are expected to implement programs effectively, according to their abilities, and to provide tangible benefits to the community through collaboration with the village government and all community members.
