UNISMUH.AC.ID, Makassar — The Agribusiness Program of the Faculty of Agriculture, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar, has achieved impressive academic results. A total of 23 students from the 2022 batch have successfully graduated after completing a seven-semester study program.

The graduation ceremony took place on the 6th floor of the Iqra Tower, Unismuh Makassar Campus, Saturday, February 28, 2026. In addition to the 23 students who graduated through the seven-semester accelerated program, two other students also completed their studies during the same period.

The Head of the Agribusiness Program, Muh. Ikmal Saleh, stated that this achievement was the result of a structured learning system and intensive academic support.

"We designed a learning system that encourages students to have high competitiveness. Graduation in seven semesters is not just about speed, but also maintaining the quality of research and fundamental understanding of agribusiness," he said.

He added that this success was also due to the role of the main academic advisors, supporting advisors, and examiners within the Agribusiness Program.

The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Unismuh Makassar, Andi Khaeriyah, said that the success of the program was not only measured by timely graduation, but also by the employability of graduates.

According to data from a 2024/2025 graduate tracer study, 62.9% of Agribusiness graduates from Unismuh obtained employment within six months of graduation. The remaining 35.11% obtained employment within more than six months.

"This fast graduation is accompanied by the quality of graduates who are recognized by the working world. That is our commitment," said Andi.
