Dr. Jumiati Passes LAM PTIP 2026 Assessor Exam, Unismuh Agribusiness Strengthens Academic Quality Commitment

MAKASSAR – Dr. Ir. Jumiati, S.P., M.M., IPM., MCE., a lecturer from the Agribusiness Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar, was declared successful as an assessor for the Independent Higher Education Accreditation Agency (LAM PTIP) in 2026, based on a Decree issued by the Executive Board of LAM PTIP Number 007/SK/DE/LAMPTIP/X/2026, which was enacted in Surakarta on Thursday, October 15, 2026. This achievement is part of the lecturer's professional development and strengthens the academic contribution in supporting the improvement of higher education quality in Indonesia.

Dr. Jumiati's success is a positive achievement for the Agribusiness Program and the Faculty of Agriculture at Unismuh Makassar. The competence as an assessor is an important asset for understanding the quality assurance process of higher education, particularly in assessing compliance with standards and promoting continuous improvement in educational quality.

In the higher education system, accreditation plays a strategic role in ensuring that the implementation of study programs complies with established quality standards. This process is not only related to administrative document fulfillment, but also includes evaluation of governance, learning processes, human resources, and institutional development efforts.
