HIMAGRI CUP 2025 Officially Closed, HIMAGRI Congress Opens with Emphasis on Achievements and Leadership Regeneration

UNISMUH.AC.ID, MAKASSAR— The Agribusiness Student Association (HIMAGRI) of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Muhammadiyah (HIMAGRI) Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Muhammadiyah (Unismuh) Makassar officially closed the HIMAGRI CUP 2025 series while simultaneously inaugurating the HIMAGRI General Meeting (Mubes). The event proceeded in a solemn manner and marked the transition from the competition phase to the evaluation and leadership regeneration process.

The closure of HIMAGRI CUP 2025 marked the end of a series of student competitions that not only produced achievements but also strengthened the values of sportsmanship, solidarity, and cooperation among Agribusiness students. Meanwhile, the opening of the HIMAGRI Mubes provided a space for reflection and the formulation of the organization's future direction.

The Chairman of the Agribusiness Student Association, Hidayat Nur Ababil, stated that HIMAGRI CUP was not just a competition, but also a platform for character development for students. "HIMAGRI CUP 2025 has proven that Agribusiness students are capable of achieving and competing healthily. Today's Mubes is a moment for reflection and strengthening the organization to become more progressive," he said.

Appreciation was also expressed by the Chairman of the Faculty of Agriculture Student Government (BEM), Rilian Cahyani. She noted that HIMAGRI's consistent organization of positive activities contributed to the faculty's image. "HIMAGRI CUP shows that student organizations can achieve achievements and build a healthy academic atmosphere. This Mubes is expected to produce visionary and achievement-oriented leadership," she said.

From the academic leadership, the Chairman of the Agribusiness Program, Muh. Ikmal Saleh, S.P., M.Si, emphasized the importance of balance between academic and non-academic achievements. "Student achievements are a reflection of the quality of the program. HIMAGRI CUP 2025 has shown the great potential of Agribusiness students. The Mubes is expected to produce work programs that support student competitiveness," he said.

The event culminated with the official closure of HIMAGRI CUP 2025 and the opening of the HIMAGRI Mubes by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, Dr. Ir. Andi Khaeriyah, M.Pd., IPU. In his address, he emphasized that achievements should be the main spirit of student activities. "Achievements are not instant, but rather through process, discipline, and collective commitment. HIMAGRI CUP has proven this. The Mubes must be a strategic space to produce integrity and innovative leadership," he said.

With the end of HIMAGRI CUP 2025 and the beginning of the HIMAGRI Mubes, the Agribusiness student association is expected to be even more solid, adaptive, and consistent in encouraging student achievements in both academic and non-academic fields, as well as providing tangible contributions to the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar.
